Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actress and television presenter. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already been offered a variety of television roles including the lead role in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was praised for her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra is well-known for her work in numerous noteworthy projects both domestically and internationally. These projects comprise British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She was also an active member of The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
